MULE DEER

DESCRIPTION

Our mule deer hunts are conducted in the Sonora desert where the environment is the perfect habitat for desert mule deer. The Sonora desert is mostly flat country with some rolling hills covered with mesquite tress, cactus and tangled brush.

All of our hunts are guided hunts conducted 1 X 1 by qualified guides who are very familiar with the terrain, excellent trackers and very good judge on deer size. The hunt will be a combination of driving on high tower vehicles, tracking, spotting and in some areas on strategically placed hunting blinds.

Our hunts begin at about 5:00 a.m., you will be treated to an American style breakfast by our full time cook and then head out to the hunting areas with your assigned guide, where you’ll hunt until sunset, with a lunch break and a siesta. In the evening you will return to camp and after a relaxing hot shower you will be treated to an excellent dinner and wine accompanied by the other hunters.

Accomodations

All our accommodations are in ranch houses with warm rooms, full size beds, hot showers, flushing toilettes and services by our professional staff. Here you will enjoy our excellent meals prepared by a full time cook. Soft drinks, beer and good national wines are included.

At the Mule Deer camps we host 5 hunter per camp per week (unless other previous arrangements) and only harvest a limited number of deer per ranch. This is how we manage to keep our outstanding success rate and superior trophy quality.
